Jeanette E. (Neustedt) Zanghi, 73, of Lakewood, passed away Feb. 23, 2013, at The Welsh Home in Rocky River from cancer.|
Born April 13, 1939, in Cleveland, Mrs. Zanghi was a resident of Willoughby Hills for 44 years before moving to Lakewood two years ago.
Jeanette was a homemaker. She loved playing scrabble with family and friends, being with her grandchildren and traveling.
Survivors are her sons, John S. (Susan) Zanghi Jr. of Lakewood and James (Adiba) Zanghi of California; daughter, Janet (David) Nikrant of Kentucky; grandchildren, Stephen, Nina, Siena, Ibrahim, Caden and Idris; brother, Kenneth (Teresa) Neustedt; and sister, Marilyn (Norman) Gordon. She was also the dear aunt and great-aunt of many.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John S. Zanghi; and parents, Herman and Ellen (nee Mattson) Neustedt.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013, at DeJohn-Flynn-Mylott Funeral Home of Willoughby Hills, 28890 Chardon Road (between Bishop Road and Route 91).
Calling hours will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
