1942 - 2013 | Obituary Condolences
Funeral Mass for David J. "Double D" Dobransky, 70, of Eastlake, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Justin Martyr Church, 35781 Stevens Blvd., Eastlake.
Mr. Dobransky passed away March 25, 2013, at his residence.
Born Oct. 18, 1942, in Cleveland, he had been a resident of Eastlake for the past 23 years.
Double D was a U.S. Air Force veteran and a member of St. Justin Martyr Church in Eastlake, Palmer Roberts American Legion Post 214 in Willoughby and the Eaton Retirees. He was also a proud member of AA. His home group was the Eastlake Wednesday Morning group. In his leisure time, he enjoyed fishing, golf, dogs and loved making pierogies.
Mr. Dobransky retired from Eaton Corporation after 30 years of service, where he worked as a systems analyst.
He was the brother of Joseph W. (Mary) Dobransky of Savannah, Ga., Robert P. (Sheila) Dobransky of Willoughby Hills, Mary Ann Dobransky of Avon and Theresa (Gene) Bezula of East Stroudsburg, Pa.; and uncle of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph P. and Anna (nee Modock) Dobransky.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
