Michael Thomas Diemert Obituary
Michael Thomas Diemert, 60, of Richmond Heights, passed away April 21, 2013, at Hospice House.
Born April 30, 1952, in Cleveland, he was a resident of South Euclid before moving to Richmond Heights more than 37 years ago.
Mr. Diemert was a member of St. Paschal Baylon Catholic Church and grew up in St. Gregory the Great Church. Mike had a love for baseball and coached his sons. He was a friend to everyone and was energetic and a hardworker.
He was a maintenance engineer for Huron Road Hospital and Harborside.
Michael is survived by his wife of 37 years, Deborah (nee Fenell). He was the loving father of Michael T. Jr. (Julie) of Euclid and Dominic W. of Richmond Heights; devoted grandfather of McKenzie; dear brother of Joseph Jr. (Kimberly), Daniel (Mary), Patrick, John and Maureen; dearest son-in-law of Betty (nee Grano); brother-in-law of Charles D.D.S. and Betsy Fenell, and William and Terri Fenell; and dear nephew, uncle and friend of many.
Mr. Diement was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph W. Sr. and Evelyn (nee Maloney) Diemert; and father-in-law, William Fenell.
Celebration of Life service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at The DeJohn-Flynn-Mylott Funeral Home of Willoughby Hills, 28890 Chardon Road (between Bishop Road and Route 91). Burial will follow at Knollwood Cemetery.
Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
