David W. McMahon

1987 - 2013 Obituary Condolences
Mass of Christian Burial for David W. McMahon, 26, of Perry, formerly of Euclid, will be 10 a.m. Monday, May 6, at Ss. Robert and William Parish, 367 E. 260th St., Euclid. Fr. John Betters will officiate.
Mr. McMahon passed away Thursday, May 2, 2013.
He was born April 28, 1987, in Euclid, and moved to Lake County nine years ago, settling in Perry.
David attended Perry Schools and graduated from Lake Academy in 2006. He was a bright, intelligent young man who struggled with ADHD and other health issues.
After years of uncertainty about what he wished to do with his life, he was finally finding focus and looking forward to the future after reconnecting with a friend from middle school.
He was hoping to find a way to help people in keeping with his strong sense of empathy for those who suffered from health issues and were in pain. He will be truly missed by his family and friends who loved him. His beaming smile will be carried in our hearts forever.
David was most recently employed at Glenda's Pizza/Park Road Grill and also worked part-time for the Lake County Tribune of Gazette Newspaper.
David was the beloved son of Dennis J. (Barbara) McMahon and Marian (nee Borstnik) McMahon; loving brother of Christopher P. (Katie) McMahon and Dennis P. (friend, Maureen) McMahon; cherished maternal grandson of Paul (Mira) Borstnik and special friend of Angela Gieling, Kenny Sicurezza and Christian Benko. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Maria (nee Grum) Borstnik; and paternal grandparents, William A. and Cora (nee Bogue) McMahon.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial will be in Perry Cemetery.
