A gathering for family and friends of Joseph J. Rohaley, 58, of Mentor, will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby, followed by a service at 7 p.m.
Mr. Rohaley passed away Sunday, May 12, 2013, at home.
Born Jan. 6, 1955, in Pittsburgh, Pa., he has lived in Lake County since 1986.
Joe was a member of the Championship Kart Racing Association and enjoyed riding his motorcycle with his son, Michael. He also enjoyed fishing and golfing with his brothers.
Mr. Rohaley was the owner of J.J. Rohaley and Associates, a structural drafting corporation, located in Mentor, which he founded in 1986.
He was the loving father of Michael John (Jennifer) Rohaley of Mentor and Joseph Carmen Rohaley of Nashville, Tenn. He is also survived by sister, Delores Spada of Euclid; brothers, David (Mary Beth) Rohaley of Chardon and Stephen (Debra) Rohaley of Mentor; his former wife, Lauri (Comport) Rohaley of Mentor; and several nieces, nephews and cousins and their families.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Irene (Chabanik) Rohaley; and brother, Lawrence Rohaley.
