Alberta Dombi (nee Kovach), 90, of Madison, formerly of Garfield Heights, went to her heavenly home May 21, 2013, at the Lantern of Madison, surrounded by her hospice family.

She was born Sept. 14, 1922, in Cleveland and a Garfield Heights resident for 55 years. Mrs. Dombi was a homemaker and enjoyed baking, cooking, flea markets, collecting glassware and her Cleveland Indians.
She was the beloved wife of the late Charles G.; loving mother of Charlene (Michael) Smith and Curtis (Jean) Dombi; treasured grandmother of Andrew, Brian and Kelly Smith; daughter of the late Joseph and Frances Kovach; and sister of Marge, Helen, Elizabeth and Julius.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations in Alberta's memory to the Hospice of the Western Reserve, 300 E. 185th St., Cleveland, OH 44119.
Friends may call at The Forfolia Funeral Home, 5386 Lee Road (near Broadway), Maple Heights. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until the funeral service begins at 11 a.m.
Interment at Highland Park Cemetery.
