Funeral Mass for Tyler J. Kenst, 21, of Willoughby, will be 10 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Church, 37940 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Father Michael Troha will officiate the Mass.
Tyler passed away Sunday, July 28, 2013, at Metro Health Medical Center in Cleveland.
Born April 7, 1992, in Ravenna, he had been a Lake County resident for 15 years, living in Willoughby.
Tyler was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Willoughby, where he was an active altar server at the 8 a.m. Mass on Sundays and an Oktoberfest member. He was a 2011 graduate of Willoughby South High School, an avid fisherman, loved bowling at Wickliffe Lanes and also enjoyed dancing.
He was the loving son of Kathleen A. Kenst of Willoughby; cherished grandson of Charlotte D. Kenst of Willoughby; nephew of Daniel (Heather) Kenst, Mary (Mike) Freeman, James Kenst and Jennifer (Michael) Martin; and cousin of many.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Walter Kenst.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial will be in Willoughby Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in his name be made to Lake Metroparks, 11211 Spear Road, Concord Township, OH 44077.
