Millie (Beach) George, 87, of Hot Springs, Ark., died July 29, 2013, in a Hot Springs hospital with her family at her side. She was born April 2, 1926, in North Madison, to Carl and Isabelle Beach, in Carl's mother's home.
She graduated from Perry High School in 1944. For several years, she helped her mother run Busy Belle's Tavern at the corner of Route 20 and Antioch Road in Perry.
In 1973, Millie, her husband, Bill George, daughter, Max and her mother, moved to Hot Springs, Ark. For 15 years, they owned and operated Paradise Point Resort on Lake Hamilton.
She is survived by her husband, Bill; four children; two stepchildren; and their spouses. They include Bud Kenny of Hot Springs, Ark., Martin Kenny of Carthage, N.C., Max Kenny of Hot Springs, Maralyn Radice-Loveland of Colorado, Bill George of Phoenix, Ariz. and Richard George of San Diego, Calif.
She was predeceased by her parents.
