1936 - 2013 | Obituary Condolences
Floyd B. Conrad, 77, of Madison, passed away Aug. 7, 2013, at TriPoint Medical Center in Concord Township.
Born June 29, 1936, in Willoughby, Floyd was a member of American Legion Post 112 and the Geneva Eagles. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1954 to 1958.
Floyd was the manager and secretary-treasurer of Labors Local 496 for 26 years. He was an owner of Ashtabula Recreational Unlimited and Conrad's Bait and Tackle in Ashtabula.
Survivors are his daughters, Dawn (Douglas) Carlson of Orwell, Helen Rose of Unionville, Jennifer Belconis of Lexington, Ky., and Lori Petrowski of Madison; and grandsons, Joe Babic, Alan Carlson and Alex Belconis.
Floyd was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra in 1999; and parents, James and Genieve Conrad.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2013, at The Potti Funeral Home, 2726 Hubbard Road, Madison, with services to immediately follow at 8 p.m. Burial will be in Madison Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Lake County Dog Shelter of Painesville.
