Susan Lynn Town, 52, of Cleveland, passed away Aug. 17, 2013, at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights after a long battle with lung disease.
She was born Nov. 12, 1960, in Warren to Wanda Lee (Eckenrode) and Trell Francis Town. She lived in Avon, and East Cleveland before her family settled in Willoughby when she was six years old. She attended Willoughby South High School and received training at Vocational Guidance Services of Cleveland.
Susan held various technical positions in the IS department of the Baker Hostetler law firm in Cleveland, where she worked for over 26 years.
She loved music, movies, books, and good conversation. She enjoyed going to rock concerts with her brother and sisters.
Susan will be missed by her siblings, Teresa (Gary) Jenson of Mentor, Laura Stakich of Mentor, and David (Mary Ann) Town of Eastlake. She is also survived by her niece, Jaime (Daniel) Nutter; nephews, Tomm Stakich (Eliza), Adam and Alex Town; great-niece, Madison Town; great-nephews, Dresden, Lincoln, and Miles Nutter; her cat Mika; and her good friend, Margaret.
She is preceded in death by her mother in December 2012 and her father in 2006.
A private family inurnment will take place at Willoughby Memorial Gardens.
