Mass of Christian Burial for Frank George Myers Jr., a lifetime Painesville resident will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary Catholic Church, 242 N. State St., Painesville.
Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Ave., Painesville .
He was born May 13, 1932, in Painesville and passed away Sept. 23, 2013, at his home in Painesville.
Frank was owner and operator of Myers Trucking Company retiring in 1995.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in Korea during the Korean War and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, V.F.W. Post, American Legion Post 336 in Painesville, B.P.O.E. 549 in Painesville and Western Reserve Yacht Club in Fairport Harbor, where he was past commodore.
He enjoyed boating and hunting.
Survivors are his wife of 40 years, Fern (Lafreniere) Myers; children, Kelly (Tony) Germano of Florida, Joseph Myers of New Jersey, and Tracy (Rod) Mcdivitt of New Jersey; stepchildren, Guy Beaucage of Painesville, Kimberly (William) Booher of Naples, Fla., and Renee (William) Bunn of Painesville; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sister, Eleanor Ronyecz of Florida.
He was preceded in death by son, Frank Myers III; granddaughters, Misty Myers, Katelyn Bunn; brother, Jack Myers; sister, Grace Phillips Brooks; and parents, Frank G. and Grace (Lockwood) Myers Sr.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Painesville.
