Doris Mae Dunlap, 89, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013.
She was born Dec. 29, 1923, in Cleveland, the daughter of James Alexander and Sara Louise (Packer) Moir.
She married Alfred ""A.J."" Dunlap on June 22, 1946. He proceeded her in death on June 1, 2010.
Throughout her life she worked retail sales and spent many hours volunteering for community organizations. She was a lifetime member of The Order of the Eastern Star of Geauga County. Throughout her life she enjoyed golf and was an avid watercolor painter.
She is survived by her children, Linda (Dan) Leutner of Palm Coast, Fla., Michael of Chardon, Debra (Terry) Calabrese of Chardon and David (Lori) of Burton; grandchildren, Todd Leutner and Jessica (Chad) Anderson, Michaela (Tyrel) Hulett and Colton Dunlap, Lydia Gehring and Christopher Calabrese, Andrea (Ryan) Hare, and Raymond Dunlap; and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Doris is proceeded in death by her parents; a brother, Gordon Alexander Moir; and a great-granddaughter.
Inurnment will be at Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013, with private graveside services.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to, Medina County Hospice, 5075 Windfall Road, Medina, OH 44256.
Blessing Funeral Home in Twinsburg is assisting the family with arrangements.
