Funeral services for Louis C. Barber, 98, a lifelong resident of Painesville will be 12:30 p.m. Friday at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville.
Mr. Barber passed away Oct.1, 2013.
He was born June 12, 1915, in Alkerton Ind.
Mr. Barber served in the U.S. Navy as an aviation Chief Radio Technician. The skills learned while serving in the Navy, carried through in his lifetime as he was an active member of the Ham Radio Club.
Mr. Barber touched many lives throughout his years with his thoughtfulness and care. He received much love from his neighbors, lifelong friends, and caregivers.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Harry Barber.
Visitation is noon to 12:30 p.m on Friday at the Funeral Home.
