Jeremy L. Hathy, 29, of Conneaut, passed away Sunday morning, Nov. 17, 2013, at UH Conneaut Medical Center.
He was born May 11, 1984, in Conneaut and was the son of David Hathy and Cathy Dickey.
He worked various jobs including working construction with his dad. Jeremy enjoyed fishing, especially trips with his dad to New York, rafting in Conneaut Creek, the outdoors, and drawing.
Jeremy was a proud dad and loved spending as much time as he could with his children, they were his life. He enjoyed being around his family, especially his grandma.
Survivors include his mother, Cathy Dickey (fiancée Lou Gabel) of Conneaut, father, David (Sharon) Hathy of Concord; fiancée, Davina Martin of Ashtabula; daughter, Arianna Hathy and son, Jeremy Hathy II, both of Ashtabula; brothers, David Hathy II, of Concord, his twin, Justin Hathy (Jennifer Baker) of Ashtabula, John "Seth" Dickey of Conneaut and Timothy Joy of Cambridge, Ohio, and sisters, Misty (Anthony) Nocera of Mentor and Jessica (Jay) Snell of Painesville; grandmothers, Luella Tuttle of Conneaut and Carol Fryan of Concord; step-father, John Dickey; step-grandparents, David and Maxine Roach of Conneaut; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, C.L. Tuttle and Richard Hathy.
Funeral service will 2 p.m. Thursday Nov. 21, 2013 at the Marcy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut, with Tim Kraus of Conneaut Church of Christ officiating.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2013.
