John A. Needham, 78, a U.S. Coast Guard Veteran, of Chagrin Falls, formerly of Lyndhurst, passed away Feb. 3, 2014 at Blossom Hill Nursing Home.
He was born June 1, 1935 in Cleveland.
Mr. Needham was a literature teacher at Brush High School in Lyndhurst for many years.
Survivors are his sisters Patricia Carlson and Mary Alice Gilbertson and many nieces, nephews and other family members.
He was preceded in death by his wife Rosalie S. Needham and his parents John and Molly Needham.
Memorial Service will be held 11:30 a.m. Friday at the Church of St. Mary, 401 North St., Chardon, OH 44024. Inurnment will be at All Souls Cemetery, Chardon.
