LONGVIEW - Funeral services for Chris Irvin, 22, of Longview, will be 3 p.m Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at Jay Valley Baptist Church, with the Rev. Craig Evers officiating. Interment will follow in Hughes Springs Cemetery in Hughes Springs, Texas. The family will greet friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, May 9, 2011, at Rader Funeral Home in Longview.
Chris passed away May 5, 2011. He was born in Titus County and had lived in East Texas all his life. He was an automotive mechanic and a member of Jay Valley Baptist Church.
He is survived by his mother, Anita Gibson and husband, Nash, of Longview; father, Larry Irvin and Frances of Hughes Springs, brothers, Ronnie Vaughan, Anthony Vaughan, Jason Irvin, Jeremy Bias, Justin Gibson and Casey Gibson; sister, Lisa Brunson; maternal grandparents, Emmitt and Shirley Sampson; grandfather, John Charles Irvin; daughters, Miranda Leanne Irvin and McKenzie; special friend, Melissa Pepper; and a number of nieces and nephews.
An account has been set up at First National Bank in Hughes Springs for monetary donations in Chris's name.
