CARTHAGE — Funeral services for Mrs. Claudia Eloise Foshee Samuel Foust, 48, of Corning, Ark., will be 11 a.m. Thursday, January 10, 2013, at Galloway United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Mervin Scott officiating. Burial will follow in Adams Cemetery under the direction of Hawthorn Funeral Home. Family visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today, January 9, 2012, at the funeral home. Mrs. Foust died January 2, 2013, in Kenai, Alaska.
Mrs. Claudia Eloise Foshee Samuel Foust was born January 3, 1964, in Carthage, Texas. She was the youngest of two girls born to the marriage of Hughlon Claude and Nevelyn Eloise Baker Foshee. She was raised in the Galloway community and attended Logansport schools, where she graduated with the class of 1982. Claudia was a loving daughter, sister, mother, wife and friend. She loved cooking, spending time in Alaska, fly fishing and ice fishing.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Rusty Elledge.
Mrs. Foust is survived by her husband, Robert Gene Foust of Corning, Ark.; son, Jonathan Samuel of Sorrento, La.; daughters, Stephanie Samuel and Ashley Samuel, both of Sorrento, La.; stepchildren, Jasmyn and Tehya Foust of Kenai, Alaska; sister, Michaelle Elledge of Longview; grandchildren, Alexa, Allanna and Jadyn, all of Sorrento, La.; special friend, Pam Falgoust; numerous other relatives; and a host of friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jonathan Samuel, Frank Leavey, Chris Felder, Bruce Falgoust, Stanley Creech and LeRoy Creech.
The family suggests memorials to the Adams Cemetery Association.
