DIANA — Services for Sandra Capps Sexton, 55, of Diana, will be 2 p.m. Thursday, December 1, 2011, at Lone Star Baptist Church in Lone Star, Texas, with Bobby Tilley and Adam O'Mary officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. Interment will be in Ore City Cemetery.
Sandra was born November 8, 1956, to J.C. and Audrey Capps of New Boston, Texas. She lost her battle with ALS on November 26, 2011, at her home. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and cherished Nana. She was employed by Steel Country Threaders for 30 years. Sandra loved gardening, watching her boys play Friday night football, spending time with her husband and family and loving on her grandbabies. She had the honor of spending 27 years with the love of her life
Sandra was preceded in death by her father, J.C. Capps; and one brother, James Capps.
She is survived by her husband, Lamont Sexton of Diana, Texas; three daughters, Hether Robertson of Diana, Tammy Burns of Brownsboro, Texas and Cassie Dailey of Pittsburg, Texas; one son, Jeromy Westphalen of Pittsburg, Texas; her mother, Audrey Capps of New Boston, Texas; three brothers, Terry Capps, Rex Capps and Jason Capps; one sister, Mechelle Huggins; and 11 grandchildren, Chris, Kagen, Reilly, McKenzie, Kody, Taylor, Jaycee, Grace, Olivia, Kyndal and Lainey.
Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, November 30, 2011, at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana
The family asks in lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Hospice of East Texas, 411 University Blvd., Tyler, TX 75701.

I am so sorry for the loss of Sandra, a wounderful girl from my schoolhood days. She always had a smile for everyone, and trully care for each and everyone of us. We had keep in touch till about 4 years ago, and I want you all to know that I always loved her and will miss her greatly. But rest assured that She now rest in "God's loving arms, with no more pain. And waiting to reunite with all that believe in Him."
