I grieve, not for Ruedean who is in a better place, but for the ones who must continue on without her. My heart goes out to the family. I'll see you tomorrow.

Losing a wife and mother is so hard. My heart is with all of you during this difficult time. Rudeen was such a special person and touched many lives. Cherish the memories you have and instill them in your children.

Although we did not know her, we know her brother, Roy, very well. Reading the entries in her guest book makes us know that, like Roy, she was a wonderful, caring person. We pray the family is consoled just by knowing that so many others share their loss. Leslie and Lynda Freeman

All my memories of Ruedean are sweet and tender because that's who she was to me. We would talk for long periods of time after school hours, and I saw in her such a sacrificial love for her family. They were more important to her than herself, as those who knew her have seen. She remained positive no matter the circumstances, because she believed and trusted in her God who loved her and gave Himself for her.
I will miss Ruedean, my sweet and loving friend. It's hard to believe she's not with us anymore, but her example in a life lived so selflessly is left for all of us to follow likewise. It was a rich blessing to know you, Ruedean, thank you for being my friend.

Tribute to Ruedean, the Proverbs 31 woman...rising before dawn to tend to her household and extended household. Thanks for the beautiful cakes, for sharing your seamstress skills, for your words of encouragement and your words of wisdom. Thanks for mothering our children. Thanks for setting an example of kindness and love. We will miss you.

To Ruedean's family. My heart aches for your loss. I have not kept in touch with her in the past few years but I often thought of her. Our children grew and played together, first our girls on Lake Drive and then when we both moved to Pine Tree area and Rhoda and my son came along. I am grateful to have know such a fine person and friend as Ruedean. May her children take comfort in knowing where she is now.
