LEAGUE CITY — Dolores Andrews, of Santa Fe, Texas, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at the age of 83. She was born April 16, 1929, in Longview, Texas.
Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, Earl G. Andrews Sr.; parents, William and Mable Clafferty; sister, Mable Hays; and son, Earl G. Andrews Jr.
She is survived by her daughters, Kathryn Smith and Virgina Turner; daughter-in-law, Brenda Andrews; sons, Mike Andrews and wife, Sylvia, and Thomas Andrews and wife, Caralea; grandchildren, Kim Altamirano and husband, Rick, Nicole Auzston and husband, Lee, Paul Sunseri Jr. and wife, Amy, Jacob Andrews and wife, Rebekah, Crystal Alexander and husband, Barry, Michael Andrews, Mallory Andrews, Tiffany Andrews and Tyler Andrews; and 11 great-grandkids.
After graduation from Longview High School, she attended Kilgore College, where she was a Rangerette dancer on their dance team. She was a faithful member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. She worked as a bookkeeper for many years; then after retirement, she was a door greeter at Wal- Mart.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. today, May 25, 2012, with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Crowder Funeral Home, 1645 East Main Street, League City, Texas 77573.
A funeral ceremony will follow at noon Saturday, May 26, 2012, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 10114 Highway 6, Hitchcock, TX 77563. Interment will take place in Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock, Texas.
