Funeral Services for Mr. George Anthony "Ant" Corbitt, 60, Daytona Bch, who passed on August 30, 2018, will be 11 AM, Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Madison Heights Church of God in Christ. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 5-7 PM, today (Fri, Sept 7) at Madison Height COGIC and from 9:30 AM until service time at the church on Saturday. Mr. Corbitt was born on August 18, 1958 in Daytona Bch to Jessie Corbitt and the late Racheal Corbitt. He was a graduate on Mainland High School and served in the US Army. He retired for the US Postal Service after 21 years in 2012. He was a member of Madison Heights COCIC where he served as Deacon, Pres. Of the Men's Usherboard, and security. He enjoyed cooking, working on old cars and taking care of his 99 year old dad. He is survived by, his loving wife: Marchalette Corbitt; children: LaTwanika Corbitt and Takierra Corbitt; father; Jessie Corbitt; siblings: Charlie Corbitt (Brenda) and Loretta Corbitt, all of Daytona Bch; grandchildren: Erricks, Jr., Georkiereon, Kiemaya Williams and Auri Anderson-Corbitt; godchildren: Antwon Brown and Amontie Raggins; a host of brothers-inlaw, sisters-in-aw, nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren and friends. www.rjgainousfuneralhome.com.

Our hearts go out to Anthony's loved ones. He was such a great neighbor. He really brought a sense of community to our neighborhood. He will be missed by all who knew him.
