Military Honors for Ronald E Shaver, 80, Edgewater, FL who died Tuesday, June 11, 2013, will be 12 Noon Saturday, June 15 at Sea Pines Memorial Gardens by American Legion Post 285. Ron was born in Rochester, NY February 22, 1933 and lived in Syracuse, NY most of his life. Ron served our nation in the U.S. Navy and worked at Carrier Corporation. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose in Syracuse 625 holding different offices within the local Lodge. He was State President in 1968, National Sergeant at Arms and in 1976 received the highest degree of the Moose Order the Pilgrim Degree. He enjoyed membership in the Dolphin Athletic Club and American Legion Post 285 Edgewater. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 59 years Janice; children Sheri Oakes, Denise Gardner, Jenell and husband David Hughes, Kimberly Shaver, and Michael Shaver; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Janice and Family, we are so sorry to hear of Ron's passing, He was such a good man and a great moose member, he will surely be missed, Only thing you can do now is say, by the grace of it all HE SUFFERS NO MORE !!!!!!!!!!! its going to take a while but you'll be able to say Hes at piece now, RIP RON RIP !!!!!!!!!!!!!.
