RIA DALSON Obituary

A strong, adventurous, German woman who came to the United States at an early age. She was a Tavern owner and Restaurateur and enjoyed frequent trips to the Florida Coast where she ultimately retired to what she called 'Paradise'. During her time in Florida, she found her sole mate in life, Arthur Dalson and they shared many wonderful years together. Ria's tough exterior, yet gentle heart made her a real one-of-a-kind. She touched many lives but mostly, her loving children, grand children and great grand children. Ria is survived by her Daughter, Nicole (Offner) Cassel; Son, Steven Offner; Son-in-Law: Steve Cassel; Daughter-in-Law, Lynnette Offner; Five grandchildren, Melissa Tronoski, Tara Jasinski, Danny Cassel, Matthew Offner, and Samantha Offner; Two great-grandchildren, Shaylynn Tronoski and Illiana Jasinski. Please send donations, in lieu of flowers, to the National Leukemia Society. A private memorial will be held during the week of 3/25/13. Please send an email to [email protected] for details.

I miss my mom everyday. She was the strongest person I know. She was very caring towards my grandchildren and I am sorry they will grow up without her in their life many times she cuddled with Shaylynn until she fell asleep, singing songs while pulling her in a wagon. The positive effect she had on my son Danny calling him her fighting Viking because of his blonde hair and his ability to achieve goals and succeed in his life.
We will all miss her very much. She had good advice and didn't sugar coat anything.

LOVE YOU MOM

Ria has always been very caring toward me. After my fall in 2010, Ria would carry any packages I had and would assist me to get some snacks and/or a drink at "Hand and Foot". She will always have a special place in my heart and I really miss her very much. My thoughts and prayers are with Ria's family.
