Dearest Charles, It was a honor to meet you! I know it was only over the phone but I enjoyed the time we spent chatting back and fourth. Im so happy I was able to be a pen pal as well and I am sincerly hoping you received my letter at Easter. I was so heart broken when called your home and your number was no longer in service, but I am glad you are in the arms of the one you loved more than anything. Thanks so much for the wonderful stories of your children, grandchildren and your wife and extended family. I will treasure the letters you sent of your accomplishments. I hope your enjoyed the usmc lamp I sent you. I will miss you dearly. Alaina Deschamps, London Ontario Canada. The Bradford Exchange.
