I tried to write your birthday letter but I could only sit there and cry. I know you are in a better place but this place just isn't the same without you. You still remain the greatest influence in my life. I miss you more than ever--Happy Birthday Daddy--Love you ALWAYS. Rob

Where do I begin? You have always been there for me, you took me to see the "Christmas lights" every year, took me Trick or Treating, making me promise you that I wouldn't fall asleep and make you carry me the whole time, and every year you carried me the whole time. There was never a time that I didn't feel free to talk to you about anything. You always listened and gave me the best advice, you taught me how to drive (FAST). You took Brandon and me in without hesitation, you taught him to be the McGyver that he is today. All of my sons love you and miss you very much. You were one of the most unselfish people in the world, right up until the end you thought of everyone else first, you didn't want to be a bother to anyone. Floyd, you have definitely earned your wings, so fly with the angels. PS, thank you for fixing my microwave. Love you Forever and more than Always!!! Your Biggest Fan.

It has rained everyday since you have been gone and it completely matches my mood. I thought I knew the pain of a broken heart before---I have had plenty of scrapes and bruises along the way but they pale in comparsion to what I feel now...theres not a minute that goes by that I dont miss you and expect to see you. I love always...Rob

Floyd was the service tech for my moms appliances for many, many years and the professional I called on. He was a sweet, kind, honest man and I have thought of him many times.
He will be missed as a professional and as a friend.
Rest in peace, Floyd

To my dearest Uncle Floyd, whom I love very very much, I will never forget you.For as long as I can remember you were a part of my life! Living next door to you as a child was great, I would always run over to your house with no shoes on, then you would have to pick sand spurs out of my feet:) I can still hear your voice when I would pull up to Pioneer,"Hey girl". My heart aches and a piece of my heart went when you did.Fly high Uncle Floyd.I will never forget you.

Although you are gone, you most certainly will not be forgotten. Thank you for all of the wonderful memories that we were able to share with you over the years. May you continue to go fast and turn left with Jesus.

It is still so hard to believe that you are gone. I know that you are still with me as I feel your presence all the time. You made me what I am today and for that I'm eternally grateful. You will remain forever in my heart and soul and although I miss you more than words can say!! I'm so glad you are pain free and in the arms of Jesus now. Love you Papa Floyd
