My memories of Bobby are from very long ago. My dad would take us to visit Aunt Margaret and Uncle Sam Aunt Angie and Uncle Rock--all their sons were an enjoyable part of the vacation. Bobby then came to visit often when he was at Farmingdale Agricultural College, he would bring Howie and Ray and cook Howie dogs for us. He met Betty at school. I was a 14year old bridesmaid in their wedding. He was a joyous cousin who always had a killer smile and wit. I felt like I was the cousin of the best looking guy on earth.

I've had the pleaser of having Rob and Deb and their family in my life for the last 30 years. I would like to thank Rob sr. and Betty for always making Becky and I feel like family. Pops always made sure there was a spot at the table for me on race weekend so he could serve me the special of the day for breakfast. The last time I saw him, he made a point to tell me how much weight I had lost. I had put on about 30 lb. and I know he was busting my butt to make a point. That was the way he rolled and that's why I loved him so much. He will always be a special part of my life and be someone I will try and model myself after. I think anyone would be a better person for having a man like Rob Moraco in their life, I know I do and will alway hold him in a high regard. If I had the chance to say one more thing to him, I would ask him to save me a seat on the other side so we could spend more time together.

To the Moraco family
Bobbie was my 3rd cousin and he will be missed my many. Graduated together in 1951. Had fun at all the class reunions
which he also help organize. Especially loved his laughter. He is in a better place now and is at peace. Will always have a place in my heart for him. God be with you. Rest in peace.
Love you,
Your cousin Josephine Clerrico, Utica, NY.

Bob had a very unique sense of humor. At Dick Schena's funeral, when he told the story as to why Dick called him "Lightning"; when he was using a hammer, he never hit the same place twice. Or during the closing of the show, he flicked his fingers above the crown of the Statue of Liberty and in a quiet voice, said "Damn Pigeons."
We'll miss you Bobby at our weekly lunches. God bless you Betty for all of the kind care you gave.
