Life Celebration for Eugene Robert "Bob" Meyer, 88, New Smyrna Beach, who died Tuesday, November 13, 2012 will be 1:00PM Sunday, November 18, 2012 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 485 Turnbull Bay Road, New Smyrna Beach FL. Bob was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut and grew up in Cooperstown, NY. He served our nation in the U.S. Navy during World War II and Korea. He retired from New York Telephone Company after 34 years of service. He retired to New Smyrna Beach in 1981 where he was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church New Smyrna Beach where he was an active member of the choir. Bob leaves to cherish his memory his daughter Karen Ann and husband Leonard Guida; granddaughters Erika Meyer and husband Alex Lewko, Linda Guida; one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years Laura and son Kurt Meyer. Memorial donations are requested to Trinity Lutheran Church, 485 Turnbull Bay Road, New Smyrna Beach FL 32168.
