A funeral service for Morris "Melvin" Marshall, Sr., 80, Holly Hill, Florida, who passed away peacefully on November 10, 2012, will be held on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at the Dale Woodward Funeral Home Chapel, 167 Ridgewood Avenue, Holly Hill at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Dan Proctor officiating. Mr. Marshall was born on November 24, 1931 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL to Morris and Hazel Marshall. He moved to this area when he was a child. He was thoroughly involved with the Loyal Order of Moose and was an avid NASCAR fanatic - especially for Earnhardt Sr. and Kyle Bush. He enjoyed traveling, motorcycles, and spending time with his family. He is predeceased by his wife of 62 years, Madelene. Survivors include his daughter, Katherine E. Hall, Daytona Beach; sons, Morris Marshall Jr., Daytona Beach and Stanley Marshall, Ormond Beach; three grandchildren, Margaret Wilson, Elaine Lint and Cheyenne Young, and his sister Dorothy Bazemore.
