Zasowski, Millie J.*  
Millie J. Zasowski passed peacefully from this life on December 25, 2014 after a long battle with cancer. She was surrounded and supported by her loving family and caregivers during her last days. Millie was born in Buffalo, NY, on February 23, 1938. She is a graduate of Villa Maria Academy and the Bryant & Stratton Business School. While raising her sons, she also worked as an executive secretary for a number of companies in Western New York, most notably: The Moog Music Company, the inventor & manufacturer of the electronic music synthesizer. In 1996, after raising her two boys, she and her husband Ed retired and moved to New Smyrna Beach, FL. Millie was a member of the New Smyrna Beach Garden Club, Questers, and volunteered at New Smyrna Beach's Sacred Heart Catholic School, where she mentored young children with reading skills. Millie is survived by her sons Edward F. Zak, his wife Audrey Simmons, Daniel E. Zasowski, his wife Maxine (Krauze), along with her six grandchildren: Rachel, Jonathan, Mitchell, Jaclyn, Gina and Derek. Millie is also survived by her brother Robert. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward F. Zasowski, Jr., her sister Lori (Robert) Nowacki, her sister Rita (Paul) Raczka and her parents, Edmund and Josephine. In lieu of flowers and such, the family requests donations to be made to the American Cancer Society or your local hospice organization in remembrance of Millie. Thank you.
