Anna Claire Campbell Cutlip, 87, passed away on Friday, February 22, 2013. She was born to Claude Talton Campbell and Hallie McCutcheon Campbell on March 4, 1925 in Gassaway, WV. Anna graduated from Gassaway High School in 1942, a graduate of Charleston School of Commerce, and a Magna Cum Laude Graduate of Salem College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. During the Korean War and Vietnam conflict, she served as the Clerk of Selective Service Boards in Braxton and Lewis counties, in West Virginia. For her work with the Recruiting Services, she received a commendation from the United States Air Force for promoting education. Anna was married to Harley V. Cutlip on March 24, 1946. When she retired from being an Enrolled Accountant, she relocated to Deltona, FL from Weston, WV in 1973. Anna was a member of West Virginia 4-H All Stars, past President of Nimble Fingers Quilter's Guild, founding member of Deltona Lakes Baptist Church, a member of the Stetson Baptist Church, and a retired member of the Voices of Victory Choir. She enjoyed reading and crocheting afghans for special friends. Anna was preceded in death by her husband in July of 1995. She was also preceded in death by son: William Harley Cutlip; granddaughter: Erin Elizabeth Cutlip; brother: Col. Claude P. Campbell; and sister: Peggy C. Zegeer. She is survived by nephew: John C. Campbell; daughter-in-law: Nancy J. Cutlip; one great- nephew, one great-niece, and four great-great-nephews; as well as her special caregivers: Marcia Simmers, Ethel Mahaley, Nancy Toms, and Marilyn Cudletts. Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 28 at Baldauff Family Funeral Home, 1233 Saxon Blvd, Orange City, FL 32763 with an interment to follow at 2:00 PM at Deltona Memorial Gardens.
