Charles Leslie Hall

Charles Leslie Hall, 76, was heaven bound, Monday, September 23, 2013 after a long illness. Charles was born in Duplin County, North Carolina to Elbert C. and Buena Preston Hall. After serving his country in the U.S. Air Force (1954-1957), Charles joined his wife to make their home in South Daytona, FL. He spent the last 57 years with his loving wife, Ramona Jones Hall. They owned and operated numerous businesses within the Daytona Beach area to include Quick & Easy Food Stores and All-n-One Vending. Charles was a life member of the VFW Post 1590 and the AMVETS Post 100. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sisters Patricia Johnson and Barbara McClure, and sister in law, Ann Hall. Charles is survived by his wife, Ramona; his son, Willliam (Darlette) Hall; his daughter, Regina (Danny) Farmer; and his brother, Jerry Hall of North Carolina, along with many cousins, nieces and nephews. Charles got lots of enjoyment and loved spending time with his five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at Sandalwood Nursing and DeVita South for the wonderful care he had these past 8 months. Services will be held Friday, September 27, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of South Daytona, 2197 Kenilworth Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia/Flagler.
