Donald Hood Obituary

Donald T. Hood Sr., age 83, of Palm Coast, Florida, passed peacefully on April 7, 2018. He was born on January 15, 1935 in Jersey City, NJ. Don was preceded in death by his parents; his brother William; his sisters Arlene & Mary; his two eldest sons, Donald and George; his step-son Patrick; and his wife Ellen. He is survived by his two daughters June (Gypsy) Ginchereau and Sheryl Tom and her husband Rick; his two sons Michael Hood and Tommy Hood; his step daughter Colleen Prout and her husband Mike; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brother Jack; sister June; and his special extended family of friends in Palm Coast. His selfless generosity and willingness to always help others were his greatest virtues and his greatest joys. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. A celebration of his life for Family and Friends will be held from 2-4 pm Friday, April 13, 2018 at Lohman Funeral Home, Palm Coast, 220 Palm Coast Parkway SW, Palm Coast, FL 32137.
