Emily Ann Joyner Rosenbloom, 87, of Ormond Beach, FL, passed away peace
fully on May 8, 2013. Mrs. Rosenbloom was born on June 16, 1925 in Suffolk, Virginia. She was adopted on June 26, 1926 from Children's Home Society of North Carolina at Greensboro to Eber and Beula Joyner. Emily grew up in Burlington, North Carolina, where she was queen of her senior prom. She graduated high school in 1942. In 1948, she became the editor of the Employees Newspaper for a textile company. Later in 1958, she modeled supp-hose for the Chester H. Roth Company in Burlington, NC. Before moving to the Ormond Beach area, Emily was a secretary for a large firm in New York for many years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lee D. Rosenbloom and both of her parents.
