Jennifer Paige Hebert, age 42, passed away unexpectedly on October 29, 2012. She is survived by her mother and step-father, Bonnie and Mike Morrison; her father, Ed Hebert; brothers Paul Hebert and Bill Morrison; sister Cassie Morrison-Collet; her grandparents, Paul and Kay Hebert; and her fiancée, William Higgins. In addition, she is missed by numerous aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, all of whom were blessed by Jennifer's constant love and attention. Jennifer was born in Jacksonville, graduating from Alden Road School, where she was a cheerleader, played on basketball and volleyball teams and excelled in her Food Services studies. She also played T-ball and softball and in her teens participated in Special Olympics swimming. As an adult she was an avid bowler with the Volusia County Special Olympics. She loved board games and could beat anyone in any card game! Despite her disabilities, Jennifer was very proud of living independently for the past 20 years. As her family knew, everyone was just a phone call away! Her love of all holidays would make the day even more special for us. If there was a dance, she was there. Any gathering was enhanced by her all out excitement of being with friends and/or family. Her long, drawn out "Hello I'm here!!" was her hallmark entrance. Jennifer will be remembered for her love of life, her unwavering love and loyalty to her family and friends, her penchant for shopping and her big smile for all. We would like to thank her companions, Teresa and Mindy, for their care and friendship with Jennifer. They took her to all her activities, appointments and most of all- shopping! In Jennifer's memory, donations may be made to Volusia County Special Olympics P.O. Box 530602 Debary, Fl 32753. A Celebration of Jennifer's life will be held in Jacksonville at a later date.
