John F. Reedich, 70, passed away January 14, 2013. On Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 10:00 A.M there will be a viewing followed by a Mass in his honor at 11:00 A.M at The Church of the Epiphany, 201 Lafayette Street, Port Orange, Florida. John served his country honorably in the United States Air Force and was later an executive officer with several private information technology companies. His love of flying and IT aided him in his career as an engineer at Kennedy Space Center where he witnessed the first space shuttle launch on April 12, 1981 and the final launch on July 8, 2011. When he was not working with computers, he loved to watch the birds at Merritt Island Refuge. John leaves behind his best friend and companion of eight years, JoAnne Barnes; son, Michael (Catalina) Reedich; daughter, Lisa Reedich and her husband Andrew; brother, Michael (Rosemary) Reedich; and sisters, Cathy Kennedy, and Mary Goonan and her late husband Joe. John will also be remembered by his adorable grandchildren Keil and Maya Reedich. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in John's name to The Church of the Epiphany.
