Ms. Lee Belanger, 78, entered into rest on March 24, 2013. She is remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She was born on September 26, 1934 in Cambridge, MA. She moved to Florida in 1970 with her family. She spent many years as a dedicated bookkeeper, and after her retirement, she pursued her true passion of assisting in the adoption of Greyhounds. Lee treasured being around her family, especially her grandson, and with her foster dogs. She is survived by her son, Robert (Theresa) Belanger; grandson, Christopher (Amber); great grandchildren, Alexis and Jeremiah; sister, Sheila Hancock; and brother, Eric Putnam. She is preceded in death by her son, David. Her funeral will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 2pm at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, FL. Her burial will be held at a later date in Nashua, NH. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Greyhound Pets of America, 960 Williamson Boulevard, Daytona Beach, FL 32114
