- Lovella N. Whitehouse, 75 of Glenwood passed away on February 17, 2013 at the Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia/Flagler Care Center in Orange City.She was born in Hemlock, Ohio on December 6, 1937 and moved to Glenwood from Logan, Ohio in 1983. Lovella was a member of Eastside Baptist Church and loved to travel. Lovella was predeceased by her husband Don in 2009. She is survived by her sons Lester Householder of Orange City and Thomas Householder of Heath, OH; daughter Sedina Farrar of Glenwood; brother Tommy Lewis of Heath, OH; sisters Sarah Heistand of DeLeon Springs, Connie Shaw of Lake of the Ozarks, MO and Ellen Bell of DeLand; 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Feb. 20th from 6-8pm at the Allen-Summerhill Funeral Home in DeLand. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, Feb. 21st at 10am at the Allen-Summerhill Memorial Chapel in DeLand with Reverend Roger Wright officiating. Interment will follow at Glenwood Cemetery. In lieu of Flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL 32129.
