Born in Longford Ireland February 4, 1927 to Thomas and Margaret Fitzgerald (nee Brennan). Mary grew up in New York City. After raising three children with her husband she attended nursing school at the age of 50. She graduated from DBCC in 1979 and went on to work as a nurse for 28 years. Thank you for your gifts of laughter, practical jokes, inspiration, knowledge and your beautiful smile. When my shoe becomes untied, I'll know that you are thinking of me. The Zechnowitz family is having private services. To share a memory with the family visit
