- Max J. Garcia, 65, of Bunnell, passed away on December 2, 2012 at Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House surrounded by his loving family and friends. The funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 11th, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 4600 Belle Terre Pkwy, Palm Coast, Florida 32164. Visitation at 1:00pm in the Memorial Room; Service begins at 2:00pm in the church. Max was born October 23, 1947 in Birmingham, Alabama to Ruth and Max Garcia. The family moved to Miami, Florida where he graduated from Miami Central High School in 1965. His smile greeted new and familiar faces each day and his laughter echoed through all the buildings he entered. Max was very proud of his family and passionate about his business. Max was a devoted and loving man to his wife, children and grandchildren. He was an entrepreneur and was the founder and President of a large process serving company for over 25 years, Max J. Garcia, Inc. He devoted much of his time and love to his family, friends, and colleagues. Mr. Garcia is survived by his loving wife, Helene Ann Garcia (Probst); sister, Tina Louise Polk (Garcia); three children, Max J. Garcia Jr., Lisa M. Garcia and Kristie Garcia Merklin; four grandchildren, Alicia Elizabeth Garcia, Andrew Joseph Garcia, Lauren Marie Merklin and Noah Ryan Merklin. He also leaves behind extended family members & a multitude of friends.
