Milton C. Mahan

Milton C. Mahan, 70, of Port Orange, passed away Nov. 10, 2013, after a lengthy battle with Myotonic Muscular Dystrophy. His mother, Edith E. Mahan, of Edgewater, pre-deceased him by 7 hours. A native of Warren, Ohio, Mr. Mahan moved here from that area in 1957. For 23 years, he was the owner/operator of Mahan Tile Inc. in Daytona Beach. He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the D.A.V., American Legion and the Eagles. Milton went on several missionary trips and was a former Gideon. All his life, Milton was known to be a giving and generous person. In lieu of other remembrances the family suggests donations be made to either the Gideon's or the Red Cross. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Judith; two daughters, Cathy Andrasco, Tampa, FL and Patty Bullock, Indianapolis, IN; a brother, George Mahan, Jr, Edgewater, FL; and three grandchildren.
