June 6, 1962 - Feb. 21, 2013. It is not often that one soul has the chance to touch so many other souls; however, Pete was one of the lucky ones. He was the love of his wife's life, a loving son, protective big brother, proud father, silly uncle, happy grandfather, and most of all, generous caring friend to so very many. Peter Robert Thibodeau passed away peacefully at home on February 21st, 2013 around 6:50 pm in the arms of his wife. He is survived by his mother Phyllis Carter and step father Ed Carter; four sisters: Rochelle, Danielle, Claudine and Michelle; four children: Alexandra, Samantha, Martin and Jessica; five grand- children: Tristan, Lilliana, Luke, Troy and Aaliyah; many nieces and nephews; and of course his loving, devoted wife Beth Ann Thibodeau. Honor Guard Services will be held on his behalf, Monday, February 25th, 2013 @ 11am in New Smyrna Beach at the end of Flagler Avenue on the Beach, where he loved to feel the sand between his toes. Following the ceremony, a "Celebration of Life" will be held in his honor at AMVETs Post 2 in Edgewater. A Navy Veteran and Charter Member of AMVETs Post 2 in Edgewater, Peter's wishes were for everyone to celebrate his life with laughter! Instead of flowers, please make a donation in Pete's honor to the AMVETs Post 2 Building Fund, a place where he shared so many laughs with all of you. It would make him happy to see the AMVET family grow and continue to be caring and devoted to its members as it had been to him and his family. Please Make Checks Payable: AMVETs Post 2, 2111 South Ridgewood Ave., Suite 9, Edgewater, FL 32141
