Phyllis J. Adams, 85, of Port Orange, FL passed away July 21, 2013. Phyllis was born to Robert and Gladys Strickland in Endicott, NY. She loved Baseball, NASCAR, (Tony Stewart), Football, Hockey, and all New York teams. She was an IBM Keypunch Computer Operator for 25 years, in Owego, New York, and also a member of the VFW Post 3282. She and her husband have been a resident of Port Orange since 1998. Phyllis will be missed by all her friends and family. She leaves to cherish her memory; her husband, Alfred Adams; a son, Robert (Donna) Adams, of Edgewater, FL; her daughter Darlene Avery of Charlotte, NC; and two grandchildren; Kyle and Chad. Private family services will be held at Daytona Memorial Park, 1423 Bellevue Ave, Daytona Beach, FL. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Port Orange.
