I am so sorry Cecile I did not know Uncle Ray passed. I have many good memories of him and I would have been there had I known. God bless you and the family. I tried to find your phone number. I am so sad.

Ray was my grandfathers brother. I've heard many of stories about him from research and family. Unfortunately I found him after his passing. I'm currently trying to contract the family. If anyone can help, please look me up on Facebook: mikealihutton

I worked with Ray on the beach from 1970 to 1974, several of those years at Central Station. I still recall some great stories of Ray during those years. I called him a few years ago after Patti Light wrote a book about the Daytona Beach lifeguards and remember how excited he was to be recorded as part of that history. I enjoyed our time together and appreciated his support. My sincere condolences to his family.
