Warren Peter Hamilton, 79, Port Orange, passed away peacefully at home July 9, 2013 with family by his side. He was retired from Western Bell (30 yrs). He served in the U.S. Army 129th Infantry Regiment and earned the National Defense Service Medal. Warren was born July 12, 1933 in Chicago, IL and moved to this area in 1990 from Villa Park, IL. He was a member of All Saints Lutheran Church. His interests included history, movies, theology, and novels. He loved his book and movie collections that he acquired over the years. He was preceded in death by his parents: Raymond and Edna Hamilton and his two brothers Roger and Donald Hamilton. Survivors include his loving and caring wife of 28 yrs Patti Hamilton; daughters Kim Wright (Skip), S. Daytona, FL; Amy Zengotita (Luis), Port Orange, FL; two grandchildren Jennifer and Michael Holley. Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, July 14, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at All Saints Lutheran Church, 751 Dunlawton Ave., Port Orange, FL 32127 with the Rev. Stanley Wickett officiating. In lieu of flowers please make donations to All Saints Lutheran Church or Hospice of Vol/Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL 32129.
