William "Wild Willie" Burns (71) passed away Jan. 20, 2013. He was born in Port Orange, New Jersey June 8, 1941. He is survived by his three children; six grandchild-ren; and many, many friends. He was a U.S. Army veteran, K-9 Unit who served in the Korean War, an ironworker, a mill right, a poet, and a biker. He loved puns, petunias and wearing his Scottish kilt proudly. He was a volunteer of several different groups. The Volusia County Audubon Society, the Dickerson center volunteer tax program, the HOG chapter of Syracuse New York, the Canaveral Seashores National park and the Florida East Coast Railroad Society. His family and friends will be gathering on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013 at 11:00 am in the chapel at Sugar Mill Gardens. The Gardens are located on Herbert St in Port Orange. Please join us to celebrate a life of laughter and love.
