Adrian Poulin Obituary

Calling hours for Adrian Poulin, 77, Port Orange, who passed away Sunday, April 15, 2007 at Halifax Medical Center, Daytona Beach, will be from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, 4815 Clyde Morris Blvd., Port Orange. Mr. Poulin was born to the late Alfred Joseph and Emelia Shank Poulin from Waterville, Maine. In June 2006, Mr. Poulin and wife, Muriel, moved to Crane Lakes in Port Orange from Troutville, Virginia where they resided for 40 years. Mr. Poulin was a member of the United States Marines Corps, and honorably served his country during the Korean and Vietnam War where he was decorated with a Purple Heart and Bronze Star. He retired from the Marines in 1968. He worked for Norfolk and Southern Railroad as an administrator and retired in 1995. Mr. Poulin loved carpentry, gardening, golfing and playing billiards. He was a devoted husband to Muriel Ernestine Poulin for 51 years. Mr. Poulin was loved and respected by everyone that knew him and his infamous greeting of "HEY" will be surely missed. Adrian is survived by his loving wife, Muriel Poulin; four children, Pamela Woods and husband, Randell, Troutville, Va., Robert "Ravi" Poulin, Roanoke, Va., Cynthia Ann Norstrom, Port Orange, Fla., Christopher Shawn Poulin, Roanoke, Va.; seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter, Tonya Michelle Woods, Kelsey Paton Bryant, Jeremy Poulin, Whitney Poulin, Alex Poulin, Trey Poulin and Trevor Poulin. Arrangements are under the care and trust of Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, Port Orange, Fla.
