Sylvia Stoddard Obituary

Sylvia Stoddard was born December 18, 1936, and died November 12, 2007. A restaraunter and author, she retired from GE Sylvania and pursued her love of the restaurant business as co-owner of the Holly Hill Diner in Holly Hill, and writing, publishing her book, "The Deadly Season". She was preceded in death by her soul mate, Shirley J. Amnott. She is survived by her children, Sandra Myers (James), Lakeside, Calif., Susan Theriault, Daytona Beach, and Sherry Gogue (Roy), National City, Calif.; stepsons, Steven Amnott (Darlene), Tallahassee, Fla., Bruce Amnott, Lewiston, Maine; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Esta Harjehausen (Harold), Banning, Calif., and Lucille Wentworth, Pownal, Maine; four brothers, Raymond Wentworth (Grace), Port Orange, Ronald Springer (Beth) Norway, Maine, Phillip Wentworth (Barbara), Pownal, and Peter Wentworth (Sharon), Portland, Maine; and her companion, Catherine Burr. Remember Sylvia with her family on November 17, 2007, at 4 p.m. at the Heath Funeral Home, 611 Highland Avenue, National City, CA 91950, officiated by Pastor Victor Najor or in Florida on December 1, at 1 p.m. at the Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, 548 N. Nova Rd., Ormond Beach, FL 32174, which will be her final resting place.
