My PawPaw was a character. My dad loved him dearly and I know he is enjoying his company in the next life. I'm excited to share stories about PawPaw to my son and my nephews. They were never dull. Most would say rest in piece, but I say drive on PawPaw and do it fast!

Rest in peace seems so contrary to how my precious PawPaw lived! I know he is in complete amazement at the sight and joy of heaven and is telling anyone who will listen all about cars and racing. I will miss hearing "hey, gal" on the other end of the phone but know that is how he will greet me when we can be together again. Be in peace sweet Mac, but I know you won't be "resting" and give Uncle Laddie a big hug for me and tell him how much we miss him too. Know you are glad to be reunited. Prayers and love for Mary too.

Mac was one great guy. His race car experience was a huge draw to me. May he win all the races in heaven. God bless.

I was a neighbor of Mac's for 18 years starting in 1983. I always remember how kind he was to my sons, taking them camping and being a great friend to everyone he came in contact with. Mac had a wonderful heart and I know he is now in heaven.

This is a beautiful tribute! I feel Mac is speeding through the universe in a splendid vehicle, getting ready to enjoy his next adventure and happy that so many of us will always keep him in our hearts.
