Thomas V. Rauscher, 59 of Port Orange died Wednesday Aug. 8, 2012 at Halifax Hospital, Daytona Beach after a brief illness. He is survived by a daughter Kathleen of Port Orange. He was pre-deceased by his mother Gladys Helen Rauscher; father Victor Rauscher; and brother Carl Rauscher. He was born in NJ, moving here in 1969. After two years with the Peace Corps, he worked in the Daytona local construction industry for many years. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Halifax Humane Society in memorium is requested. A beachside Memorial Service by Church of the Highlands will be held on Saturday Sept. 8 at 10:30AM on the beach at Mallard Street walkover at 4001 S.
