Althea Clark
12/12/1924 - 06/09/2018
On December 12th, 1924 Althea Clark was born to loving parents, Roselee and David Clark. Althea was a very strong, passionate and loving woman. She spent her whole life living each and every day to the fullest. Althea was the loving mother of three children; Harry, Linda and Donny whom she dedicated her life to raising and caring. Her first love was Harry Rubin Clark, who helped raise and care for their three lovely children. In her later years, Althea met her second love, Sam Babain. Together they traveled the world and everywhere they traveled, they left a lasting impression on everyone they met. With bright smiles and warm hellos, they captured the hearts of others. Althea was adored by her six grandchildren and her seven great-grandchildren. Her long life was no small feat, she was a fighter all the way to the end. At the miraculous age of 93, Althea Clark passed away. She will forever live in each and everyone's hearts, leaving all who knew her with all the amazing memories she shared with us. May she rest in peace and fly among the angels and may she watch over us from heaven. Her funeral will be held at 11:30 am on June 14, 2018 at Lankford Funeral Home 220 East New York Avenue, DeLand, Florida 32724. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in her honor to St. Jude Hospital.
